Frequently asked questions
If your question isn't here, book a discovery call. We'd rather answer it live than make you guess.
Services and fit
Are you a marketing agency or an analytics consultancy?
Both. That's the point. Most firms do one or the other. Strategists who can't touch code, or technicians who can't connect work to business outcomes. We do both. We'll debug your GTM container in the morning and sit in your leadership meeting explaining what it means for revenue in the afternoon.
What services do you actually offer?
Analytics implementation across GA4, GTM, Adobe, Heap, Amplitude, PostHog, Segment, and RudderStack. SEO. AEO. PPC management. CRO. CRM implementation (HubSpot and others). Data engineering. Systems integration. Reports and dashboards. See our services page for the full breakdown.
Are you certified partners?
Yes. Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing Ads, and HubSpot. We add partnerships where they serve our clients.
What kind of companies do you work with?
Mid-market to enterprise. Typical revenue is $10M to $500M+. Marketing teams of 3 to 15 people. Our sweet spot is ecommerce, lead gen and SaaS on HubSpot, and technical products or services. We also work with higher ed, QSR, restaurant, financial services, and healthcare.
Will you work alongside our existing agency or internal team?
Yes. That's actually the common case. Many clients use adMind as the technical and analytics layer on top of a creative or media agency. We're agency-agnostic and work with your other vendors, not against them. We will tell you honestly if one of them is underperforming.
What if we're too small (or too big) for you?
If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you on the discovery call and point you somewhere better. It happens. We don't pitch engagements we don't think will work.
Pricing and engagements
How does pricing work?
Three layers. Audits are productized entry points at fixed prices ($2,500 to $5,000, plus a free PPC audit for most accounts). Analytics packages start at $3,500/mo, $6,500/mo, or $10,000/mo, scoped through a discovery conversation. Digital marketing services (PPC, SEO, CRO, campaign strategy) are custom-scoped retainers. See pricing for details.
Do I have to start with an audit?
Not always. If you already know what you need, we can scope a package directly. Most new clients do start with a paid audit, because it de-risks the decision and gives us both evidence to scope the next phase honestly.
Do you require long-term contracts?
No. Monthly engagements with 30 days' notice. Our average client tenure exceeds four years. We stay because the work is valuable, not because you're locked in.
Why are package prices starting at instead of fixed?
Because scope genuinely varies. A $3,500/mo Foundation engagement for a single-brand ecommerce business looks different than Foundation for a multi-brand holding company. The discovery call surfaces the real scope. We'd rather quote accurately than make you back out a vague flat rate.
What's in the monthly hours bank?
Unused hours roll forward within the quarter. It's your hedge against surprise requests: a new tracking need, a one-off analysis, a platform migration that pops up mid-month. Bigger packages come with larger banks.
Do you take equity or performance-based deals?
Rarely, and only in specific circumstances. Our standard engagements are fee-based. Reach out if you have an unusual structure in mind and we'll have an honest conversation about whether it makes sense.
Getting started
What happens on the discovery call?
No pitch deck. We ask questions, listen, and start diagnosing. By the end we both know what's likely broken, what needs attention, and whether we're a fit. If we are, we recommend a next step, usually an audit, sometimes a specific project. If we're not, we say so and point you somewhere better.
How long does an audit take?
Two to four weeks from kickoff to findings call, depending on complexity. Larger enterprise audits can take longer when there's more surface area to cover.
How quickly can an ongoing engagement start?
Once scope is aligned, we typically kick off within one to two weeks. For urgent work like audit remediation or platform migration deadlines, we can move faster.
Who will I actually work with?
Senior practitioners. Every team member at adMind has at least a decade of experience in their discipline. We don't hire junior staff and train them on your account. You'll have a dedicated lead consultant and access to specialists as the work requires.
How do we communicate during an engagement?
Direct Slack or email with your consultants. Monthly insight reviews. Quarterly strategic reviews for larger engagements. We don't hide behind account managers.
What if we don't have budget for a package yet?
Start with an audit. Many clients do an audit, execute the roadmap with their internal team, and come back to us for the next phase. We'd rather be the right call at the right time than the forced call now.
